About us

Who we are

North Wales DA welcomes all campers, whether Caravan, Motorhome, Tent, Trailer Tent, and Fifth Wheel caravans

We are a friendly DA and are pleased to offer a varied selection of Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites (events) at various locations in Wales and beyond. click on the event's link on the top menu to discover our future venues.

Our DA started life in 1956 as part of the North West Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club where it was known as the Liverpool and North Wales DA.

The DA then became Wirral and North Wales DA in 1967.

The DA then transferred to the North Central Region of the Camping & Caravanning Club in 1973.

After the transfer, our DA was renamed as the North Wales DA in 1974.

Being part of a camping community also opens doors to new camping locations, insider knowledge on the best spots to visit, and a sense of belonging to a supportive and welcoming group. Whether you are a seasoned camper or a beginner looking to embark on new adventures, joining a camping community in the UK enriches the overall camping experience and creates a sense of camaraderie that makes every trip more enjoyable.
